SHE IS NOTHING BUT DANGER

William's P.O.V.

I was working out in my gym as usual but my mind was not in its best state. It had been two weeks since that incident with her uncle in the hospital and yet the image of her holding Nathan's hand was coming continuously inside my mind any time making me more confused and irritated. It was not like that we were even friends. She was just a girl whom I helped out of humanity. Then what was the thing that was bothering me so much?

Later on the other day, I talked with my dad about her situation with her uncle. I was shocked to know that she was his deceased younger brother's daughter and he adopted her because she owned 60% shares of their company. They treated her like trash all these years since she was only 4 years. She came to know about her situation in the company but didn't say anything because she didn't want to lose her pathetic family. She had only them in the name of family and she hoped that they would change.

Dad and her biological father were best friends and that was why my father was taking care of her. He said that he loved her like her daughter and now he had to help her for getting out of his uncle's grip. He suspected that her uncle would do something dirty to keep her away from the company. I also suspected the same thing but I couldn't do anything here.

"Watch it, man", I heard Nathan yelling at me and before I could understand I almost dropped the weight on my chest. Nathan came on time and held the weight right a little up on my chest. I almost stopped breathing and Nathan removed the weight from me. I sat down on the bench and took deep breaths to calm myself down.

"What's wrong with you? What were you thinking so hard?" he yelled again and I looked at him helplessly. He scoffed while looking at me with disbelief. I sighed and stood up from the bench and went near the water bottles. I sat down on the floor leaning back on the wall while drinking water. Nathan came near to me and sat down in front of me while raising his brows on me.

"I don't know what is happening to me, bro... it's just... I am not able to get her images out of my mind", I confessed without wasting a second and he scoffed while leaning back on his hands. "You know very well that she is not like the other girls and she is almost out of the limit for the boys like us, right?" he said and I looked at him with disdain. "What do you mean by the boys like us, huh? We don't do anything illegal or other things that portray us as bad boys:", I was pissed now.

He laughed and shook his head. "We are not bad boys but players while she is the bad girl with pure body and soul", he explained and I looked at him in confusion. I saw her bullying sometimes but didn't make her a bad girl. "Care to explain", I spat and he sighed while straightening himself. "After what happened in the hospital, I dug some information about her. I don't know why she didn't beat their asses badly when she is able to beat 10 men in one go", his words startled me and I dropped my jaw on the floor in shock.

"10 men?" I said with a voice filled with disbelief. He nodded and then looked around. "You know that our fathers have some dirty business too, right?" he whispered to me and I nodded immediately. "I came to know that she is the one who is taking care of their dirty business and she is known as the thunder queen in that circle", he whispered again and I widened my eyes without blinking. "Remember that night in the club where she beat up a man in front of us?" he looked at me to confirm and I again nodded furiously without saying a word.

"That man owed 50 million from my dad and she was there to make a deal with him. He started hitting on her and that was when she lost herself and that man paid the full amount with interest within 48 hours", he explained again in the lower voice and I felt my breath stuck in my throat.

"She is a champion in kickboxing and ring fighting. She is a sharpshooter and she is also a techie", he straightened up himself as he was leaning towards all this time and I took a long breath to ease my heart which was thumping so loud inside my chest. "Her family has no idea about her undercover activities and this was the only reason that they beat her up mercilessly and treated her like trash", he finished all the information that he had by now.

"All we need to stay away from her, right?" I asked in a nervous tone and he laughed so hard. "Man... you really don't know whom to make your friend or whom not", he laughed and I looked at him annoyingly. "She is nothing but danger and I don't want anything related to her in my life", I said while standing up from my position. He also stood up while laughing at me.

"So... you will not mind if I try to befriend her, right?" I snapped my head towards him while narrowing my eyes on my best friend. I loved him so much as my brother but I didn't know why I didn't want him to be near to Vanessa. He laughed again while pointing at me. "You are screwed, man", he laughed and I smacked his head annoyingly. He yelped in pain while rubbing the back of his head where I hit him but didn't stop laughing at me.

I was hell annoyed by now. We both entered the living room where my dad was sitting with his dad and we both looked at each other because it was too early to have a meeting. "Good Morning, dad, uncle", I greeted both of them. They both nodded but stopped talking. I looked at Nathan and he also shrugged his shoulders. It seemed that something was really serious but they didn't want to discuss it in front of me. So, I took it as cue and went towards my room with Nathan.

"Are we missing somethng here?" I asked him and he shrugged his shoulders. "How do I know?" he said while opening the door of my room. "We are going to take over our businesses in a few years if they agree to give us freedom so more years. If not then we need to take over the business next year. Don't you think that we should start the business now?" I asked him while removing the top that I had worn right now.

He popped himself on my bed and looked at me without saying anything else. "What part of the business do you want to understand, first?" he asked and I removed the shoes after sitting on the bed. "I think... I will go with the white side of the business at first. I should know what made them to go for the dirty side of the business", I explained my thought and he nodded while pouting a little.

"I think... now it's time to talk with your dad that we will give some of our time to our business too. To be honest, I am tired of partying, drinking and girls now. There is no fun in this now. The same old way of the party, drinking and then having s*x with a random girl.... it's boring now", he said and lay down on the bed on his back. I raised my brows on him while going towards the washroom. "We are still young, Nathan", I said and entered the washroom.

I scoffed while thinking about what he told me. I was washing my body under the shower when something came up in my mind. What if he was interested in Venessa and thinking about something related to her. Jealousy filled my system. I hoped that there was nothing related to Venessa. I didn't know why I was jealous but I was.

I came out of the washroom and found my room empty. I was sure that he went downstairs as it was breakfast time. I got ready for college. I didn't feel to be ready myself as I do always like styling my hair, picking a pleasing perfume, choosing a good combination of clothes that could make me more attractive. I just wear whatever I picked up today. The serious faces of my father and uncle were continuous in my mind and I wanted to know what was happening now.

I came down and found only my mom there on the dining table. "Where is dad?" I asked my mom while taking my chair. "He is in the study with Nathan and his father. He also asked to go there", she told me and I nodded while eating my breakfast. It must be something serious if he wanted me there in his study.
