Xavier and Emily

"Doctor, how is my sister?" I asked our family doctor.

After a fight with that woman, Emily got unconscious. I took her back to the hospital, and now two days have passed, and she is in a hospital bed. I can't see her weak and plain sleeping lifeless. Doctors were running so many tests in between this time. They are worried I can see that. But I'm more concerned about my sister. We are twins, so her unconsciousness makes me weak too.

Finally, he met in person. He looks damn worried, which makes me more anxious.

"She got something poisonous. And it's hard to find what kind of poison she had. But the poison was eating her body one by one." The doctor told me everything.

"Poison? You are a doctor here. Can't you find what kind of poison that is? And how can she get poison in her body? She was ok in the meeting."

"Did she eat or drink something that already had poison in it?"

"No. As I remember, she never eats or drinks anything."

"Oh, must someone inject her poison? Because I see a small dot on her shoulder."

Inject? Could it be Her? She is the Snake Princess, after all.

"Doctor, can our Alpha get better?" My Beta Aslam asked. He is worried like me. He is our friend from our childhood. Past eight years, he has worked for us as our Beta. He is a responsible and gentle Beta in our pack. When Emily and I are not in the pack, he does all duties as Bait. And he is our adviser too. That's why today he is here with me.

My mom was resting in the house. She was with Emily the whole time. She needs the rest. I didn't tell her that we had found our Mate. I didn't know because I wanted to find out whether our relationship stood out or not. She is a cheerful person. If she finds out, she begins to celebrate. I didn't want her hope to be broken. Only my Beta and Gamma know about Raj. I know they can shut their mouth for now.

"I can't give you hope, Alpha. She is dying… The poison inside her body killed her slowly." Doctor said,

"You are a doctor!! How dare you say that…" I growled at him in an Alpha voice.

"I know, Alpha. But we can't find a cure for her. It's a different poison than normal."

"It could be Her poison." Beta said.

"Whom?"

"Didn't you tell me Emily fought with a woman? She is the Snake Princess, right?" Aslam said in a thoughtful tone.

"Yes, it must be her. She is the last person with Emily that night. After she left, Emily got unconscious. It must be her…"

'She first snatched our Mate, and now she is killing our sister. Let me out, and I'll kill that bitch.' My wolf Xander growled in anger.

'I can't let you out. Our mate is with her, and as he said, she is carrying our mate's pup. It means we need to find another way to teach her about the season. But first, we need to save our sister.' I said to him,

'If she poisoned Emily, that means she had been an antidote to her.' Xander suggested.

'You are right.'

"A Snake Princess? It could be Princess Maya?" The doctor's voice made me break our link.

"You know here?" I asked.

"Yes, she is a rare snake in this world. She is beautiful, intelligent, and full of surprises. She had many types of poison in her body. Her venom was so dangerous. There is no antidote to that poison. Maybe Emily's body has the same poison. I didn't see more than five cases of her attack. Her venom kills a person in a second. But because Emily is a werewolf and most Alpha werewolves, her blood-making process is slower. But still, she is affected. Alpha, if it is really Princess Maya put poison in her body. It means you have to hurry and meet her. She is the only one who can save your sister." The doctor said in a worried tone.

"I'll never ask that damn woman for help. She had already snatched my mate. If I see her again, I will kill her." I growled in anger.

"Did you want Emily dead?" Aslam asked all of a sudeen.

"Aslam!!" I growled at him dangerously. Is he making me kill him?

"I know you're angry at her. But it would help if you calmed. Think about Emily. Her life is in line. We don't have time for anger fights. You can kill her after Emily gets saved." Aslam said seriously.

"Did you want me to knees in front of her and beg her to save Emily? You know I'm Alpha. And Alpha never knees." I said proudly.

"You don't have to knee or beg. Just go and meet her once. Maybe your mate too. I know he is angry at both of you, but as I heard about him, he definitely helps you in this." Aslam said.

I got quiet and thought about Jay. I can feel our bonds when I suck him. His sweet moan, the test of his d**k. I can't help but turn it on.

"Ahem!! Alpha, this is not the time to think about your hot mate." Aslam's voice makes me come back.

"I'm not thinking about him," I said, coughing lightly.

"Come on, your blushing face and arousal smell were in the air, Alpha." Aslam pointed out.

Yes, they can smell me.

Shit!! It's all because of my wolf. He is the one putting images in my mind.

'I'm just helping to recall what we experience. And I want more of him.' Xander murmured in my head.

"Sorry to disturb you, gentlemen. But you need to think about Emily." The doctor interrupted us.

The doctor is right. I need to find a way to save my sister, and I have to force the Snake Princess to come here and save my wife.

"How much time do we have?" I asked in worry tone.

"Two days I guess." The doctorate told me to look at the report.

"Ok, make sure she stays safe," I said as I spared Emily's body. It's so painful to see our other half dying in front of us. And we are helpless to do anything.

"Ok, Alpha. I'll leave then." The doctor bowed and left the room.

"What are you going to do?" Aslam asked.

"I have a plan," I murmured as I took Emily's hand.

"Ok, let me know if you need something." Aslam said with a smile.

I just nod and keep trying to mind-link with Emily. We are twins, so we can mind link even when we are sleeping or in a coma. We had never tried it before. But today I need to talk to her. Before I go. I closed my eyes and knocked on her mind.

'Xavier…' Emily's weak voice rings in my mind.

'Emily… Emily… Did you hear me?' I was so happy that finally, she allowed me in.

'Xavier… Please help me. I didn't want to die here? I was so alone here…. Here is darkness pulling me down… I need to see you mate… I want to be a happy mate like another she-wolf… Why didn't moon goddess allow me to see him? Touch him? Xavier, please do something… Help me…" Emily's voice is so weak and sad.

'I will… I will, Emily. Just hold on longer… I will drag that snake here and heal you. Just hold on a little bit. Ok?'

'Ok. I trust you…' She said,

'Is your wolf ok?' I asked in worry tone.

'She is weak like me. But she helped me to live more.' Emily said weakly.

'Tell her everything will be ok soon.'

'Ok…' Emily's voice cut after that.

I open my eyes, and look at her. She is fighting, and I was going to fight for her too.

"Princess Maya… Be ready. I won't go soft on you just because you are carrying our mates' pups." I growled dangerously.
