Icarus' POV:
I watched their futile attempts from keeping me from escaping this hell hole but it was only a matter of time.They think they could easily remove the mental chains I've placed on them with just 8 years. I watched through my eyes as they happily lived with their mates or tried to protect them.I watched as the young Lycans began their uprising, If the pack was under my leadership this would never happen, mating with a werewolf, they aren't even worthy to breathe the same air as us.
'Good Job my child keep the good work'
'Thank you father'
'I will soon be free and eradicate all the insects that placed me here'
Yola's POV:
I was lying on Jasmine's Lap when i asked her a question but she never answered. I looked up at her to see her eyes clouded black.She was acting funny again just like a few days ago.
"Jasmine, Jasmine!"She looked surprised and looked down at me.
"Is something wrong?"She asked and petted my head.
"I'm fine but are you okay"
"Yeah"
I rased an eyebrow.
"I'm perfect" She kissed me on the lips to reassure me.
I brushed it off after i saw her smile.
She stroked my hair and I snuggled closer to her.
Unknown POV:
I watched as our beta and that abomination laid in each others arms giggling. It mad me sick It's only a matter of time before our plan takes action.We managed to lower Alphas guard with the false information we've been sending to her. I went back into the woods to our base.
Jamie's POV:
I tightened the secret with secret guards in order to keep a low profile so it wouldn't affect our planned negotiations with the opposition. Erick and his mate seem to be getting along, I haven't seen him show an once of emotion to someone like that in a long time. Jasmine and Yola seem to be getting along but i should really tell them to consider doing it in a room next time.Jasmine has been pretty distance since she got here, that shy little girl who didn't want anyone next to her.She always listen to my concerns and laughs at me when I can't but she always seems to keep something bottled, it'd be nice if she has someone to open up to and Yola seems like a nice person , if she has a brother like Peyton with her she's bound to have a heart like this.
I watched Peyton from the window as he was fascinated talking to the elders and asking question, Elder Laura seems to really like him and trust me its hard to get on her good side, They were all in laughs and giggles and then Peyton looked up to my office and I quickly moved from the window before he saw me. I placed a hand over my heart to calm it down but realized it made nno sense since my heartbeat was so quiet that even I couldn't pick it up.I sighed and removed my head, its gonna be pretty hard mustering up the courage to reject him.I went back to my desk and took a look at our territory to check the meeting place they suggested.
Dad walked into my office and cleared his throat.
I looked up at him and smiled.
"How's my baby girl doing?"He smiled at me.
"Perfect" I ran up to him and hugged him. He and mom moved a few miles out of the pack after i became Alpha in order to give me space fr me to 'grow' Also know as have alone time with my mate.
"So your mom told me about your little problem"He went up and took a seat by my desk.
"Yeah, a few wolves don't agree with me and Peyton being mated." I replied.
"So you plan to reject him to pacif them?"
"I have no other choice"
"But you haven't considered Peyton's feeling , she's a sweet girl"
"Peyton is a dude"
"I lost the bet with your mom"
"What?"
"I betted you'd be mated with a girl and your mom betted that you'd be mated to a dude"
"But technically its a tie"
"Try telling your mom that"
I turned the map around for him to see.
"We're meeting here" I pointed on the map to indicate.
"Not too far from the wolfsbane field, their careful, it's enough to weaken you along with them so you can't kill them even if you want to."
"We're not killing them just negotiating"
"They disband if you reject Peyton"

"Are you sure they won't disagree"
"That's what caused the problem in the first place"

I paused for a sec and thought about it.
"This is your mate Jam Jam, you only get one, are you sure you can let him go"
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there and didn't the humans say if you love something you should let it go

"I know but it's hard to have to choose between two things i care about so much" My eyes stung and i bit my cheeks to keep my tears out.
Dad came and hugged me.
"I had the same problem with your mother since her father is in the gallows and II was in constant pain because of it.No matter what choice you make, we won't love you less, we just don't want to see you hear" He stroked my hair and i hug onto him tighter.
"But I can't love him maybe if he was a Lycan from the Gallows their would be a chance but he's a werewolf"
"Try something else and if it doesn't work use it as your last option but until then stop pushing Peyton away.I can see he really loves you"
"How did you and mom do this?"
"Well when everyone told me dhe was evil, i didn't believe her, when they framed her , i heard her side and made fair Judge and when they told me not to love her I did regardless.Don't sacrifice your mate because you think it'll make you feel happy, You need to happy in order for you to make others happy"
