The fingers of the cold night air sliced into my hair and rolled over my skin as the massive red werewolf dashed through the trees. Stray branches nicked me here and there as I held on to the wolf's fur, clinging on to dear life. I was once a wolf, but I never had the same speed and agility that the scarlet beast possessed. It was insanely fast. The wolf was able to lose Jason and Carlisle with just a couple of its hurried leaps and strides. Even with their wings, Jay and Goldilocks couldn't keep up with us.
