Tensions rise like wildfire in the maze already, thoughts cleared, doubts filled, but what broke a change of molds into a whistling gleam of straits? It's the News Tulio brought him when he glanced to check in on his injures.
"Sorry buddy, I may need to cut out a part of your foot before it's too late." said Tulio.
"What? no no! I.. I don't wanna do that, I can't do that.." said Dwayne. "Yes you can.. you'll live, that's what it matters, and not to mention, it's only part of your foot, ignore that, and it will be the entire one next time." said Austin to which Dwayne was rather peached, than prospered.
One minute he was going to kick the life out of anyone who messed with him, the next thing you know, he's drowned with the one question he couldn't seem to find the answer for, if he is too late now.
"Guys, I don't wanna do this, just heal it, don't cut." cried Dwayne but to Tulio and Austin, the answer is clear, that if they don't spill blood today, tonight it's gonna be Dwayne's or their blood instead that'll spilled, but one of them wouldn't be alive to see it.
"Forget asking him, let's do it." said Austin. "Do what? No! I told you no!" screamed Dwayne as Austin holds him close. "Listen to me kid, you're young, got a lifetime ahead of you, if you make a choice now, it will be part of a leg that's gone, if you don't do it now, the price will be your entire life." said Austin.
"I don't care! I am not gonna cut my leg, you ain't the doctors! you'll mess it up than it already is." said Dwayne. "If you're not agreeing to this, then we won't either." said Austin. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" asked Dwayne.
"It means we're gonna abandon you here, with a wound like that, you'll definitely die if the infection spreads, and if that happens, you're just dead weight." said Tulio.
"No, you can't do that, you won't do this, I'm not agreeing to this, you can't force me to!" yelled Dwayne. "Keep yelling like this, and it ain't gonna make it easy, look, we'll just cut it before you know it, it isn't going to hurt at all." said Dwayne.
"Since when do you know anything about cutting and stitching it closed on anything?" asked Dwayne to which, Austin takes out from his bag, a round of barbed wire, with scalpel, that seem much like it's going to scrap on someone at anytime.
"Does it answer your question?" asked Austin showing the wire. "You're gonna stitch me with that?" asked Dwayne. "Under circumstances, I'd say, it's better, trust me, it's better to do this now, than before, and.. you're gonna do this, or it will just be you." said Tulio, with a determination that would have gotten me the chills, but sadly, I wasn't there.
"What's it gonna be kid? you ready to lose your foot, or your life?" asked Austin, frankly with a question like that, anyone would break a leg, or in this case, cut it open, and stitch it with barbed wire, but who knows what's Dwayne gonna pick? isn't he of his own mind.. or not? We'll find that about it later.
Right now, we're gonna take a peak on the free world, at least not from screens, as everyone's eyes seem to be fixated on this new show.
Except for Anthea's who had fallen sleep in her table again, that's right, you remember Anthea right? the one who got us in here with a boring speech, well, she's about to get one too, just after the door on her office opens, with several men in suits and glasses of black storm in without notice which caught her all awoke up.
"What? who are you? how did you get in here?." asked Anthea while she was then detained by this very figures, despite her resistance to be free of their hold.
"Stop it, let me go!.." said Anthea as she was pounded on the table with cuffs placed on the back of her hands.
"You will remain quiet." said a agent who spits in a puddle of cloth into her mouth and ties it around her face by force, while she attempt to struggle at first, the badge of the Green Serpent becomes clear, that it was their part in all of this. While she continues staring at theirs, the agents proceed their plan, stuffing her onto the maintenance trolley and shuts it tight.
As the agents then proceed their way, driving the trolley towards the lift, and onto the entrance, the entire building that seemed to be heavily understaffed, awaits in terror while agents like him are holding their gun close towards them, especially the ones with a loaded AK49 which they had found.
Once the trolley is brought by the entrance, the agents continue adjoining with the rest of them, and truth be told, it was kind of like those old heist movies, where the money is taken away in different trolleys of the same identification, but only one had the real money, but however in this case, it was Anthea.
Just as they proceed to drag the trolleys onto their respective cars, one of the security guard managed to trigger off the alarms to the police as they come buzzing in.
But does this stop these guys?
Nope, wish the cops didn't bring just pistol, but it would have been a firegun fight, as the agent throws off a trigged grenade from his pocket and fires his SMG which catches the police, completely by surprise.
"Urghh.. guns, they've got guns!" yelled the cop within the car as he slides down when bamm! grenades start bursting in, and right before you know it, the agents make their way out of the game with the real prize intact in a chevo, while dummy ones are given with loud noises to be dragged as far away from the target as possible.
Sooner than you think, Anthea finds herself, tied up, and drugged in a warehouse, within a ragged hood on her head.
"Hello? is anyone there? whoever you are, if this is about the money, I can pay you, I can pay you all instead, just let me go! don't let me get grabbed by those snakes.." said Anthea with a moment of her ragged hood had been lifted off, only to find a bald Chinese asshole staring back at her, but sadly which she does not know as a blindfold is also put forth onto her.
"Hey! who the hell put a blindfold on her?" asked the guy in Chinese, but since no reply came back, he unfolded, and like seeing angel on Christmas, Anthea saw the bald little princess.
"You.. you've brought me.. who are you? what do you want?" asked Anthea. "That's for the Head to decide, I am only supposed to bring you here, as does my wish was." said the guy. "But who are you? why did you bring me here, what is this place?" asked Anthea.
"This.. is a warehouse, it's a stocking one, where we keep the exports, and the imports before the shipment comes, anyone from the member of the green serpent can stock their goods in here, or foods, perhaps women even, aren't you one? are you not?" asked the guy.
For a second, Anthea knew what he was suggesting exactly, she could have landed him a kick to the balls for that, but at the time, it didn't feel like, it was gonna resolve her situation, so she didn't, and instead, swallowed her hunger, and bided time, till, the real boss arrives, which he did, with a grand entrance.
Limousines, Jeeps and bikes filled with armed mercenaries, you name it, it had it all, except for a hot figure in tights, showing him the door, oh wait, there she is, she is the driver after all.
As the master of green Serpents enter from his car, wearing a dark suit with green outline while he smiles, towards the look of having captured Anthea, who is not yet to know why he was brought to him at immediate emergence.
"Greetings, Miss Anthea, how are you? I hope your journey here wasn't so hard." said the guy with the green suit, I'm gonna call him the master now.
"Who the hell are you? why did you bring me here?" asked Anthea, and frankly, isn't it kind of obvious, this is the wrong question you should be asking? Anthea isn't superman, how the hell is she gonna fight through with all the guards? maybe she wasn't thinking at the time.
"Calm yourself, Anthea, I am a gentleman, as people say, now relax, and breathe.." said the master while he takes upon the chair next to Anthea and repeats his own step.
"Now, where were we?" asked the Master. "I know you're part of the Green Serpents, they've sent you here, didn't they? well, they did it before too, but my answer remains the same, I didn't know about Josh's involvement with them.
I didn't know WIC's organs donor trade, all I know was, and will be about the game, so if this was about that, I suggest you'd talk, otherwise, might have put a bullet on my head, and get on with it!" said Anthea with just few breathes in between, man, how does she do that?
"Miss Anthea, why be so... rationing? what did I do to earn such.. distraught from you?" asked the Master.
"Well.. try k********g me for starters, or how about putting me in a maintenance trolley, until I was put in a car that got shot? that's not the least of that happened to me when I got here." said Anthea ragingly looking upon the bald guy.
Hearing this, you'd think the master would take out his frustrations on the bald guy to impress her, but no, things took a wide turn he aimed his revolver right at his bald head, and even before he could beg, the master shoots his head down to pieces on that perfect bald head.
Horrifed by what she witnessed, doubts begins pouring down on Anthea, why exactly, the bald guy was killed, wasn't he behaving nice?
"When I was four years old, my mother would often be visited by a angry jackass from the other end of town, all the times he beated and scolded her, right in front of me, I was too young to intervene, and was scared to jump in and save her.
But when my mother once died because of it, I bashed down the bottle, and slithered it right up his neck, killing him instantly, that was my first murder." said the Master with a laugh even Anthea found it creepier than the ghost.
