Dawn felt the floor beneath her vanish when she heard that, she couldn’t believe what she was hearing, “W-What?” she asked.

“Did I stutter?” Rafael asked, “I said that you are going to be my bride. You are going to marry me.”

“No.” Dawn said as she tried to push Rafael back, “I can’t! I did not agree to it! Have you lost your mind? How can you decide that without my permission.”

“I saved your life and it's mine, and you are going to marry me whether you want it or not.” He said as grabbed her hands.

“No! I am not going to marry you.” She said as she struggled against his grip but Rafael did not let her go, suddenly she felt dizzy and nearly lost her balance and Rafael supported her, “I don’t think you realize what situation you are in, I am going to give you some time to think about it before I come back. Get some rest.” He said as he helped her lay down on the bed before he left the room.

Once he came out of the room, he was met with his best friend and his future beta Thaddeus, “I want you to find out everything about that woman and bring that information to me, you have time till morning.”

Thaddeus nodded. After a while, Rafael came back to the room with some food but he found that the room was empty, he looked at the window which was open, he quickly ran out and summoned the guards, and ordered them to look for Dawn. This time he was really angry, Dawn was ruining his plan, and this made him really annoyed.

Meanwhile, Dawn was running as she looked for an exit but so far, she found none, she had no idea where she was. She ran and ran till she came near a cliff, she looked down and got scared when she saw the water.

“Stop right there woman!” she stopped when she heard that voice, she turned back and looked at Rafael and the man looked really angry.

“Come back with me while I am being nice!” he said and it looked like he was really serious, he moved towards her and she moved back, “Come here!”

“No!” she said.

"This is the last time I am asking nicely! come to me!" Rafael said he could not understand why would she reject him! he was going to be the alpha of the most powerful pack and she would be his luna, it was a good offer! so why was she running away? For some reason, he felt the need to cage her by his side

Dawn clenched her fists and glared at Rafael! "I said no!" she turned around and jumped down the cliff, Rafael's eyes widened as he rushed to her and jumped after her which shocked her why would Rafael jump to save her, Rafael hugged her in mid-air as the two fell into the cold water below. ~~

“Let me go! Let me go! I will not marry you!” Dawn struggled as she shivered with cold, her body was wet and cold as Rafael dragged her somewhere, Rafael was quiet the whole time, the scene where Dawn jumped from the cliff was still fresh in his mind and that bothered and he didn't know why.

Rafael spoke, “Then I will show you what will happen if you do not obey me! I’ll show you how cruel I can be.” He said as he dragged her towards the dungeons threw her into a cell and locked the door, “stay here for some time and reflect on your actions, you better change your mind when I come to see you after some time.”

Dawn shivered in the cold dark cell as she sat on the ground, she had a fever and she was feeling extremely weak, she still could not believe how her life had turned out like this, her mate was marrying someone else and her child was died, and she was being forced to marry someone else. That someone else being a cruel person, perhaps just as cruel as her mate and the pack. She felt so lost and helpless right now.

She didn’t know how long she was sitting at her place, but she soon heard the door open, she looked up and saw Rafael in front of her.

She stood up and looked at him cautiously, however, Rafael smirked and said, “I found some interesting about your baby cheeks.”

Baby cheeks? What?

“Dawn Raymond, the runt of the blood moon pack, the previous beta’s daughter with no wolf, and you have no mate and yet you were pregnant and recently miscarried.” He smirked as narrated her life to her.

She clenched her fists as she glared at her, Rafael paused before he said, “You know, if you marry me, I can provide you all the things that you would ever want, money, status, safety, I also promise to treat you better.”

“And what if I refuse?” she said.

Rafael sighed and said, “Then I am going to kill you.” He said blankly as he stared at her, “You have seen me drinking your blood, I can’t have you going around and revealing it to others, and also you will be ruining my plans if you refuse to marry me.”

“What are you?” Dawn asked.

“A werewolf.”

“Then why did you drink my blood?”

“Stop asking irrelevant questions and focus on the situation Dawn Raymond. It’s either you marry me or die.”

Dawn thought about it for a while, she thought about everything that had been going on, her mate’s betrayal, her father’s cruelty, the loss of her child everything, and now that she was being forced to do something against her will she realized that she had nothing to lose. And now that she thought with a clear mind, this was not a bad option she could use this situation to her advantage and take Rafael's help."

So, she looked at Rafael and said, “I have a condition.”

Rafael smirked, “Now we are talking, what is it that you want?”

“I want revenge.” She spoke. She looked straight at Rafael and said, “I want your help to take revenge.”

Rafael smiled and said, “Alright, I will help you to take revenge and in return you have to marry me, you have to be my wife for as long as I want.”

“Okay,” Dawn said.

“Alright then let’s get you cleaned up, shall we?” he said as he raised his hand toward Dawn and she looked at his hand and then at him before she raised her hand and grabbed his hand.

“Welcome to the pack of Evara.”

Dawn nodded but suddenly she felt dizzy and stumbled back, she was about to fall down but before she could touch the ground Rafael caught her, he looked at her and sighed, “What am I going to do with you.”
