"Alpha," Dawn said slowly and gently with a gentle smile on her beautiful face, her eyes full of love as she looked at the alpha who was her mate. "Alpha, I am pregnant," Dawn said as she sat on the bed with her body covered by the bed sheets that were slipping down her smooth body, revealing her milky skin. "What?" Rafael said with eyes full of shock. His face was pale and he was shocked as hell once he heard that. Cade blinked twice and did not reply for some time, he just stared at Dawn. Dawn slowly became anxious when she heard no reply from him, so her smile dimmed a little and she said, "What happened alpha aren't you happy?" Dawn asked with a hint of worry in her voice. Cade blinked and took some time to gather his thoughts before he said with a smile, "Of course dear, Of course, I am very happy for, it's our child." Dawn smiled brightly when she heard that, "I knew that you would be happy." Cade smiled as well and gave a kiss to her on her forehead, "I am so happy that I feel like I am on cloud nine." Dawn smiled when she heard that, "Alpha, then can I ask you something?" Cade gave her a nod and she said, "Alpha, we have known that we are mates for six months, but you still haven't marked me. So now that we are pregnant don't you think that this is the right time for you to mark me?" Cade did not reply immediately, but something changed, his expression was weird and something flashed in his eyes when he heard that. Dawn looked at him with hopeful eyes. Cade smiled and gently touched her face and said with a smile, "Of course, I will soon mark you Dawn and we will be together forever and raise our child, we just have to wait for my alpha ceremony. Once I am made the alpha, I am going to mark you and make you my Luna how is that?" Dawn smiled widely when she heard that, "I am really very happy Alpha. There is nothing more that I can ask of you." Cade nodded and then slowly turned to the other side to get up but as soon as his back was facing Dawn his face changed. His smile was gone and he was no longer happy about this development. Meanwhile, Dawn was still on cloud nine. She got up from the bed, wearing only a single shirt that also belonged to Cade and went to stand before the mirror, she kept her hand on her stomach and imagined herself with a big tummy when she she would be in her seventh or ninth month. Dawn was a beautiful woman, with brown hairs reaching her shoulders and pale skin with brown eyes, perfect cheeks, and a sharp nose. She was truly ethereal. And today there was a glow on her face, she was happy that she was going to be the mother of her mate's child. And now the only thing that was left is be marked by Cade and become his Luna and always stay by his side and raise their child together. ~~~ "Where were you for the whole night huh?" Dawn looked at her dearest stepmother Lily. Beth was looking at her with a gentle smile and a loving gaze. Anyone who was not familiar with them would think that Beth was a very loving person and treated Dawn like her own daughter, in fact, Dawn herself would think the same. She would think that her mother loved her very much, but she was not naive anymore. However even if she knew what her stepmother was like she couldn't really do anything against her, so she gave her a small smile and said, "I was busy mother." She said and tried to walk past Lily, but she grabbed her hand and stopped her from moving any further. Dawn stopped and looked at her, the two looked at each other in the eyes and Dawn gave her a small smile as she said, "is there something that you want Mother?" Lily gave her a smile as well, but her smile was not genuine, it was completely fake. And Dawn knew it, Lily spoke, "What work was it? perhaps spending time with some men the whole night?" Dawn looked at Lily with sharp eyes full of hate and that she didn't even try to hide. In the end Dawn just gave her a smile and said, "Mother you are wrong it isn't like this." Lily looked at her with sharp eyes. Dawn just looked down and was worried, she hated to admit but she was scared, she was scared that her stepmother would harm her and kill her child, with how cruel she was Dawn knew that she would fo that. Dawn just walked to her room and shut the door behind her, she kept her hand over her stomach and smiled slightly. Dawn was the daughter of the pack's beta and she was the future beta, or had she thought that was until her stepmother convinced her step-brother to be the beta and her father who had always thought that she was useless agreed to her step-mother's wish making Dawn devastated. Everyone knew that her father didn't favor her, and so her step-sister and her step-brother always took turns to bully and not just them, many other pack members also bullied her. One time she raised her voice and pushed her step-brother a little, hard and everyone created a chaos, her step-mother cried as her son had died and that day her father had beaten the s**t out of her and locked her in a dark room, to starve fro three days. After that her perspective of her father changed. And over the time she only and only hated this pack and this family. Six months ago on her eighteenth birthday, she was about to leave the pack and go somewhere far but she found her mate and was unable to leave. It turned out that Cade already knew that he was her mate, but when Dawn asked her that why didn't he say anything if he knew to that reply Cade only said that he was waiting for her to turn eighteen. Dawn was happy that she had her mate now, and once she became the luna she was going to make sure that all these people suffered a lot. ~~~ Days passed and soon the day for the alpha ceremony also came, today was the day when Cade was going to be crowned as the alpha of the pack. Dawn was really exctied on that day and was getting ready. However, just before the ceremony, she felt immense pain in her abdomen. She clutched her stomach hard and collapsed on the floor writhing with pain, crying, and screaming but no one was in the house everyone had already left. Dawn felt something warm slide down her legs and her eyes widened with horror when she realized that she was having a miscarriage. She screamed and vomited and was in immense and called out for Cade. She dragged her body towards her phone and picked it up and tried to call Cade but he did not pick up. And the pain was so much that she fainted. ~~~ The next time when Dawn woke up, she was in the infirmary. Her body was weak and pale as she tried to sit up but before she could the doctor came and said, "You better lie down, you are still weak..." Dawn looked at her and then at her stomach before she cried and said, "What happened to my baby?" The doctor looked at her with pity and said, "I am sorry to say but you had a miscarriage." Dawn's eyes widened when she heard that, she felt her whole world come to an end, and she burst into tears, she cried and cried and cried. And while she was crying her father came in with an angry expression, "What are you crying for? haven't you disgraced me enough! What are you making a fuss for? Getting pregnant with a bastard baby! Do you have any idea how much shame you have brought to our family!" Dawn glared at her father and said, "Don't you dare say that my baby was a bastard! It was the child of me and my mate! How dare you call him a bastard!" "Mate?! What mate! if you had a mate then why aren't you marked yet? huh! Why are you lying?" "I am not lying my mate is Cade and it was his child and he told me that he would mark me once he was the alpha he-" Before she could complete speaking her father slapped her tightly her face flew to the side and she covered her face with her hand and looked at her father.
