Ten: Ilaria
I just couldn’t believe all that had happened to me in the last twenty-four hours. It is like waking up in a nightmare that won’t quit. I let out a grunt as I watched him throw the keys into the water and just walk away. He doesn’t talk loudly, but whispers. I stare at him until he stops and looks back at me. I let out a sigh as I start to follow him. I don’t know if I should, but I have nowhere else to go. Rosa’s words keep playing in my head telling me I have a strong person in my corner. The only person she knows about is her son, right? Was it her way of telling me to trust him?
Then again, I think Rosa might be off her rocker as she called that other man her son also. The one I have seen him around the Rossi family home and found out he works for them.
