Beryl's POV
I opened my eyes to the sound of war and the smell of blood. Darkness had covered everywhere and it was not very easy to see your enemies or know who was on your side.
I was being carried because I couldn't feel my feet on the ground and I knew it was Gard who was running with me sprawled on his shoulders.
"I'm fine Gard, you can drop me." I screamed in the noise beating Gard's back to add effects to it.
In shock he dropped me and looked at me to see I was awake.
"Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded through drowsily.
"What happened? I thought you'll be unconscious for a while." He asked me and I smiled weakly.
"I'll be fine in a few minutes. I saw the priestess in my unconscious state and as reward for completing the mission and killing Alpha Kai, she restored my health
