I gave the order to Caroline, and immediately she responded, “Yes, Luna” and I felt this sense of excitement and calm in me. I knew I had made the right choice. Though it would be hard to kill an Alpha, and it might come with repercussions, it was still the best thing I could do for myself and the wolf kingdom as a whole.
“Luna, I'll get to work now.” Carolien said, bringing back my thoughts to reality.
“Okay, let the others stay around and help. Don't work on your own, okay?” I commanded her.
“Okay, Luna.” She responded.
“You are not permitted to die. Neither of you are. And that's an order from your Luna that cannot be disobeyed.” I said and heard them giggle about before we shut the mind link.
