Beryl's POV The sound of a resounding gun immediately pulled me out of my trance as I almost jumped on Caroline. “He's at the window with a gun.” I whispered to her through the mind link and her eyes bulged out in surprise. “That was very fast. How is he so smart?” Caroline asked in surprise. “Let's use the back.” I told her, and we ran to the other side of the window, only to find him waiting for us there as well.
