Beryl's POV For a few minutes, Alpha Aiden said nothing to me other than to just look at me like he was trying to decipher what I was thinking or what was going on inside my head. I kept the strangest uninterested face I could muster and stared back at him as he checked me out in a way that wasn't romantic in any sense but rather was commanding and more questioning.
