“Who is that?” One of us whispered, and I gulped because I knew who it was. His scent had already filled my nostrils from a long distance. It was my wolf working and I knew it.
For a long time, I had ignored my wolf. Because of circumstances, we barely conversed anymore, and she had become hardened and rude to me and everyone around. Also, I could feel she missed out on someone I wasn't ready to associate with.
