Forty seven☆ Delilah pushes Brandon away.

I arrived at the hospital. I had brought the kids for Delilah.
Brandon was watching them in the lobby until I asked for them.
Sam asked Brandon, "Where is mommy, is she coming to take us home?"
Baby Seraphina sucked her thumb as she held Brandon's shirt tightly.
I slowly entered the dark room.
" I'm here daughter, I am here."
Delilah was out of her head. She was living in the darkness of drug induced depression. It seemed that she was at her lowest.
She blinked her eyes at the sound of my voice.
"Momma, that you? I hurt my leg, it hurts all of the time."
I could see that Delilah needed her babies.
I sat Delilah up in the bed and straightened out the blankets, then gave her some water.
"Mom, Brandon wants a divorce. He hates me."
"No, he loves you so much. That was so long ago. Everything is fine with you two now."
I quickly stepped out into the lobby.
Brandon held Sam's hand as he carried Seraphina in to see their momma.
Sam cried. "Momma!" Delilah opened her eyes. "Son?"
Baby Seraphina clung to daddy.
Delilah held out her arms. "Son, come here!"
She was so happy. Brandon put the baby on her too. She shyly snuggled into Delilah.
" Where have you been my babies?"
Sam said, "I go potty in the big potty now."
" You do? Oh my goodness."
She winced, as he jumped near her stump jarring it.
Her leg hurt, but she worked through the pain, instead of asking for a pill this time.
Brandon stayed in the background. She needed alone time with the kids.
The baby kicked her shoe off, Delilah reached down to grab it.
She felt around the lower bed.
" My leg. I can't feel it on the bed."
Brandon motioned for me to take the baby and Sam off the bed.

Brandon
I moved in next to her.
"Hey there Delilah, the leg was very infected. They cut the infection out."
She nodded. "You told me that before. It's g..gone...all...gone isn't it Brandon, please tell me the truth."
I nodded, staring into her red eyes. "From the knee down. But, you are here with us. You lived!"
Delilah turned her head away.
"Your father did this to me."
I winced. "He's in jail. You are safe Lilah girl."
I took her hands as I silently cried for her.
Delilah looked away.
"Brandon, you had no chance when you were a boy. He taught you how to be a cheater, a liar like him. He was so evil. I'm so sorry, I never knew."
I responded softly, "I will take care of you. I'm not going to cheat on you. I love you. You taught me how to change."
Delilah shook her head. She had some thinking to do. She wasn't sure of anything right now.
Once a cheater, always a cheater...
" How do I ever walk again. I can't do this." She said.
" You are my wife. I will take care of everything. I'm not using my wheel chair anymore."
Delilah couldn't even smile. She looked down at her stump.
Just then Adam came back in to see Delilah, thank God.
He touched her shoulder, she smiled at this big man that helped her so many times before.
" Adam!" She exclaimed.
" We are all set. Delilah I'm taking you home via helicopter. Brandon and the kids will follow in the car with Georgia."
She nodded. "What about Antonio. Where is he at, I need him with me."
I frowned, feeling torn. "I will call him. He's at the hotel."
She was still not thinking clear, I didn't want to upset her by my jealousy.
Adam had informed me that he wanted to have time alone with Delilah to help her cope.
I agreed, I would reluctantly make the long ride back home with Georgia and the kids.
She's pushing me away, I don't deserve her.

Antonio
I came right away and helped Adam get Delilah into the helicopter.
"Listen, I'm going to fly up to visit you in a litte while. I just need to see Louisa first. She is worried about you too." I said.
Delilah wept."You said you loved me, I was supposed to marry you. We loved eachother."
I had to break her heart all over again. I just couldn't do it.
I leaned in and kissed her lips."I will stay with you my Bella. I will stay."
Adam frowned at me. He shook his head. "Delilah, you are in love with Brandon, not Antonio."
"Brandon hates me, he is marrying Lillianne. He hates me." She said weakly, slurring her words.
The nurse had given her an extra dose of narcotics to get through the long flight.
I called my wife. "I'm going with Delilah in the helicopter. Her mind is all mixed up, she is in a bad way."
" Don't remember please." She said worried now.
" What do you mean dear?" I asked Louisa, confused.
"Don't remember your love for her. We are so happy now." She said.
But I knew it was too late. I was in love with Delilah. I always had been.
Delilah called for me."Tony, please."
Louisa told me she loved me. She didn't tell me about her pregnancy.
She was afraid I would think she was lying just to keep me.
I sat with Delilah in the back seat. She leaned on my shoulder. "Kiss me please."
Adam was up front with the pilot.
I turned her face towards me and kissed her on the cheek.
She moved her mouth to capture mine. "Tony, I never told you this, I almost went with you to Italy.
My mother talked me out of it. The baby and all. Where is my son Sam?"
Her eyes were closed. "Did Powell take him from me?"
I just held her and let her ramble. I knew she would regret everything once she got home.
She put her hand in my shirt. She stroked my chest. I felt my excitement for her and adjusted my zipper.
"You should have told me that your heart was still bad. I wouldn't have made love to you."
She continued to do circles in my chest hair. She was at another time in her mind.
She moved her hand lower."I can still pleasure you my lover."
I had longed for her to touch me this way. This time I didn't stop her. I leaned into her loving touch just for one precious moment.
Delilah pulled me close, she kissed me, the drugs were making her loosen up.
She put her tongue in my mouth. I moaned and kissed her passionately.
Just for a moment, for one little helicopter ride.
I lay back to move away from her, her head fell onto my lap and she kissed me there, oh boy.
She unzipped my pants. Adam looked back, seeing her mouth on me. He angrily pulled her back up.
" You will need to sit up for safety Delilah." He glared at me.
" Do not touch her!" Adam warned me. Though he couldn't really stop her.
I put both of my hands up. " I'm not doing it."
Adam said,"Your not stopping her either."
I knew that, I said,"I owe her to love her and not upset her right now."
Adam said, "Brandon trusts you with his wife. You have your own wife."
I nodded sadly." I know."
My mistake love.
Delilah's eyes were still closed. She nodded off.
I touched her hand. She squeezed mine and intertwined her fingers with my own.
I would comfort her on the ride home.

Brandon
I was playing with Sam and the baby to keep them busy as they sat in their car seats, Georgia drove.
" Daddy do it again." Sam laughed. I made a funny face at Sam. Both kids laughed.
I hoped Adam could help my wife. We had been through so much.
Beautiful Delilah was so happy before all if this. I started to feel angry at my father again.
I wanted revenge.
Seraphina giggled, pulling me out of my dark thoughts.
" Sera, daddy said it's your turn to chose. Want a story, or daddy sing?"
She clapped. "Book." She was able to say a few words now.
I pulled out a book from the baby bag.

Both kids were sleeping when they got to the hotel.
Georgia got them checked in as I undid the car seat buckles.
I handed Sera to Georgia. "I can take Sam in."
Before I could pick Sam up in my arms, I tried to get out of the car.
As I stood up, I fell back. My legs gave out on me.
Georgia watched me fall to the ground. She watched me struggle to get back up, but I did it. My arms were very strong at least.
" I will take both kids up and get you some help." She offered.
" No I will walk. I will push the luggage cart up. No worries mom." I smiled at her.
She said she was very fond of me and admired how I took good care of everyone.
" Brandon, she will heal, be patient."
I took a deep breath," I hope so."
We made it to our room. I slept with both of the kids, placing pillows around them to keep them from falling off the bed.
