14 - The Wrath of Silas

1737 Words

King Silas     The second I finished locking the door, I put the key back in it’s hiding place, then I leaned against the door with my palms laying flat on it.  A very small part of me felt bad for being harsh with the struggling werecat, but a bigger part of me wanted to torture her in any way I could.     With that thought in mind, I commanded my twenty best guards to surround the cottage and make sure the kitty didn’t get away, then I headed back to the castle.  I had one destination in mind, and there wasn’t anything else that was gonna stop me from reaching her.     As soon as the castle came into sight, I opened up my mind link with Anita and asked her to meet me at my chambers.  Like an obedient she-dragon, Anita was leaning against the wall, waiting for me when I got back.
