Alana     I laid there on the floor for about fifteen minutes, while blood seeped out of the many wounds that littered my body.  Most of them were still embedded with glass, and I knew I needed to remove it before my cat would be able to fully heal the wounds.     Once I caught my breath, I slowly got to my feet and stumbled to the bathroom.  As soon as I saw my reflection in the mirror, I gasped in surprise.     It was the first time I had set eyes on my own reflection since before I got imprisoned, and I didn’t even recognize myself anymore.  My hair was down to my knees, but it looked more tangled than I realized.  My mate didn’t help with that when he pulled it the way he did.     I had dark circles surrounding my sunken eyes, and my usually tanned skin looked like white paste.  Th
