Bucharest, Romania. August 10th, 2013
It was now three weeks since Alina had met Zelda in the sports hall, and so many things had already changed for her. They’d found the perfect new apartment…which was about double the cost that Alina had first imagined. But it was in a great neighborhood, and it had an incredible roof terrace that would allow her family to get outside for meals when the weather allowed. The view faced towards the park, and it was high enough to be away from traffic noise. Zelda had told her not to worry about the cost.
