Chapter 12 the full moon run

Laura was a little surprised when she saw everyone, she's never been to a pack before and she didn't realize how many were in one. They all wanted to meet her. She saw Brooke, Victoria, Kevin and Trish and a few others she knew, but she didn't know anyone else. When they got out of the car. Lance held her hand and led the way. 

" Everyone, I would like for you to meet Laura. She will be the new Luna if she decides she wants me as her mate. She is new to this unknown world. So please take it easy on her. She will be joining us in the full moon shift tonight. And she will be deciding if she wants to join our pack, if she does. We will expand our territory all the way to her house. So be ready just in case, he looked at her smiling." Welcome to our home. And I hope your home soon as well" she kept looking around as she whispered "this place is beautiful," what she could see in the dark, there were flower gardens even vegetable gardens, a playground for the kids, there was so much she wanted to see, but she would have to come back during daylight to see, Lance only let go of her hand to speak once more. 

'my family, friends neighboring packs, we are all gather here today to have our shift to run free for today, the moon is rising, as soon as it rising into the sky, we will begin our shift, the countdown starts now, everyone started to count down, ten….nine...eight..seven...six...five....four….three..two...one.. the moon was fully full and all the way up in the sky, everyone striped down to nothing, and started to shift. Laura took a few steps back, she knew how large Rachel was, she watched everyone shift first. And then she realized Lance's wolf, was the wolf that always stayed on her porch, "well ole be damn," she decided it was her turn to shift. So she started, she went down on her knees, she felt her body start to break to make way for her new body. She closed her eyes just for a moment, when she opened them, she was looking at them with her wolf eyes, everyone was looking at her in shock. Laura's wolf was larger than Lance's wolf, she was a huge black wolf with silver eyes, all the wolves including Lance wolf bowed down to her. She was thinking to herself, 

"This is just crazy, why are they bowing down to me?" After her thoughts, Lance howled the loudest howl she had ever heard. Everyone else started howling and so did she. The humans in the city heard the howls and locked up the business and ran home in fear. They knew on the full moon, werewolves were free to run without fear of being hunted down,  they ran home and locked the doors and the windows, making sure there blinds were closed and locked, 

After the howling was done, he took the lead and started to run, Laura was beside him running she looked over at him and knew why they were shocked, she was much bigger then he was, but she wasn't anything special, just a wolf, they ran for hours they ran through the town and the city, then back to their homes. The humans only thought they were real wolves they didn't know about the supernatural, and they wanted to keep it that way,
