Axel’s P.O.V.

I looked at the sleeping figure of my beautiful PA sleeping on the couch in my office. She was snoring softly which made her even more cute. I was looking at her for more than half an hour. We both were so engrossed in the work that we forgot about time. When our stomachs started protesting due to hunger then we realized that we were late. I ordered for both of us and we had dinner together. After that, I again resumed looking for what they were asking me while she booked our tickets and hotel accommodation.

Her phone pinged once again and I stood up from my place. I went near the table in front of the couch and took her phone. I unlocked her phone because we both knew each other’s phone pin. My brows raised when I read the message sent by Ryan. I scrolled through their messages and to my dismay she showed her interest in meeting him. He asked her about her plans for tomorrow and I smirked. I had our plane in the afternoon and there was so much work was pending right now.

I sat down near her and cupped her cheek lightly. She instantly snuggled under my touch and it took my whole strength to keep myself away from away. I leaned down and lightly kissed her lips and instantly pulled myself away from her. I again scanned her face and took a breath of relief because she was still sleeping peacefully. I licked my lips and looked at her face lovingly for a while.

I sat down on the ground near her and closed my eyes while resting my head on the corner of the armrest. I had no girlfriend because the girls and women around me wanted nothing but my money. I didn’t want flings or one night stand but a sincere lifelong relationship. Bella was the kind of girl who believes in love and marriage. She never threw herself on me or gave me a seductive look unlike other girls working in the company.

“Why are you sitting on the floor, Sir?” I opened my eyes and found Bella looking at me with sleepy eyes. “Uhh… it’s nothing… I just wanted to close my eyes”, I said while standing up from my point. “You can lay down here too. It’s big enough for two of us”, she said while closing her eyes. I widened my eyes in shock and blinked twice at her. She was right that the couch was broad enough for the petite bodies of both of us. Still, I couldn’t believe myself near her.

“Uhhh… it’s okay… you have to work more in the morning. So…. You must sleep”, I said and was about to move when I froze on my spot. She held my wrist. I looked down at her. She was still in her sleep. “You have a long day today and we have to travel tomorrow. So…. You should have some sleep too”, she patted next to her while swaying her body in sleep.

I hesitantly looked at her. She lay down and scooted a little inside making space for me. I sighed and lay down there. I covered her with a blanket before and she covered herself again. So, now we have a wall of blanket between her body and mine. Still, my heart was beating furiously. She was the girl whom I love and she was sleeping like a baby so close to me.

I looked at her so close face and smiled. Soon the exhaustion took over me and I slept. I woke up by the sound of my alarm on my phone and I groaned in irritation. I felt that I slept a few minutes before but that was the best sleep that I could get in that small space. Bella was still sleeping and I didn’t have the heart to wake her up but I needed to wake her up.

“Bella… wake up”, I patted her cheeks lightly while thinking about to stand up or not. My body was in denial right now but I didn’t want to think awkward between me and Bella. She stirred a little but didn’t wake up. “Bella… wake up… we have to go”, I again said in a low and soft voice. Suddenly she moved towards me and my breath hitched into my throat when she snuggled into me. My hand was in the air and My body was completely frozen. The warmth of her body was making me crazy now. Her hot breaths were fanning my neck me making things worst for me.

After catching my breath after a while, I pushed her a little away from me and stood up immediately. There was no way that I was going to be near her any soon. “Ms Pierce… wake up now”, I almost commanded her in a meek voice. “Uhhh… why are you haunting my dreams, Sir… you always came in between my dream man and me”, she groaned while rubbing her eyes lazily.

I was dumbstruck at her revelation. She was lying beside me and was the dream about some other man? “You are dreaming about kissing a man?” I asked in an irritated tone while taking my wallet and phone from the table. She huffed and then put her hair in a high messy bun that made her more cute and beautiful. She looked more beautiful in the morning.

“Why are you suddenly interested in my dreams, Sir? It’s not like that I am kissing you”, she huffed and I smiled internally. If she knew how badly I wanted to kiss her hard this time. “I am single and I can dream anything”, she blinked her eyes dramatically and then stood up from the couch. She folded the blanket neatly and then put that back in the cupboard.

I was leaning on my table while watching her movements. She was murmuring something that I couldn’t hear but I loved her annoying form. She was doing everything with grace. She never swayed her body seductively in front of me. She always walked with grace and held her head high.

“Shall we?” I came out of my trance when she called me. I looked at her and she was ready to leave. “Yeah”, I said and then we both headed towards the elevator. “I will drop you first”, I told her and she shook her head negatively. We were in the elevator right now.

“You don’t need to drop me. I already have called the cab. We need to come back as we need some more documents”, she told me and I looked at her with a small smile on my face. It was 6 in the morning and she already had the whole day routine in her mind. She was a beautiful example of beauty with the brain. “Are you listening to me?” I looked at her annoying face and blinked. “Sorry…. I… zone out”, I averted my gaze from her face and then I realized that I was standing near my car in the parking area. She huffed and then bid her goodbye and went out of the parking area.

I smiled at her retreating figure and then hopped inside my car. I ignited the engine while putting everything in the back seat. I drove outside and saw her going inside a cab. I went on my way towards my home. I lived alone as both my parents had their own villa in the very prestigious area of the city. My father was still chairman of the company and a major shareholder of the company. I was a single child but they never spoilt me and I was thankful to them for this. I thought about Bella and Ryan and sighed aloud. We parked the car in the garage as I reached home. I went straight to the elevator and reached my penthouse. I had to do something to keep this Ryan guy away from Bella but didn’t know how long I would keep him away from her.

One thing that I was sure of now was that I needed to make my move now if I wanted her to be with me. I didn’t know why she wasn’t affected by my personality. I didn’t want her to be immune to my charm. I smirked when an evil plan came into my mind. I could use this trip to close the distance between us. With my plan in my mind, I went straight to the washroom to get ready for my mission of making Bella mine.
