I acted irrationally??? No... I was thinking straight... I acted on impulse???? No.... I did what I wanted to do that time. I was not able to resist more than I already had resisted myself around her. Two years.... Two long years ... I tried to stay away from her but now I couldn't. I couldn't understand how she could resist me all this time. She was still in denial and her rejection.... well it hurt like a b***h every time when she talked about her blind dates and going out with them. I hated so much all those times when she was out with the other men but with not me.

That kiss… was what I wanted that time. Her sleepy eyes and parted lips just invited and I took that invitation. I was so happy when she responded back with the same passion. I knew that I was her first kiss because of her family background and I already had done a background check on her. At that moment, I knew that she was mine and she would always be mine. I enjoyed our kiss and so did she. After that, she tried to maintain the distance that we were keeping all these years but now…. That was enough for me.

I took my shower in the hotel room and I came out of the bathroom after wrapping a towel around my waistline. I was drying my hair from another towel and found her sitting on the couch while working on her laptop furiously. “What are you doing?” I asked her while going towards the dresser. She was used to my nakedness in front of her because of our continuous stay in the same hotel room. We both meant for the business and we both spent the whole night working and then sleeping in the same room… not on the same bed though.

“They have sent another rough draft of the contract from their side and I think… we need to sort so many things with them. I have answered them on your behalf as I found some points completely irrelevant in this draft. I … I don’t know what they are trying to do with us. It’s just”, she sighed in frustration and I went near to her.

“Show me”, I sat down beside her and she scooted a little towards inside to give me space. She showed me what they sent to us this time and what did she replied. I chewed my inner cheeks while reading the points that she found absurd here. She was absolutely right because whatever they were trying to do were not acceptable for me.

“We have wasted so much time for this project and at this point, we can’t back out and they know this very well. They are trying to trap us now”, she said in a disappointed tone and I took a deep breath. “Don’t think too much… let me talk with dad at first. When do we have the meeting with them?” I asked her and she looked at me. “It’s around 8 tomorrow morning in their office”, she told me and I nodded. It’s almost night and we both needed to have our sleep.

“Go and take your bath first. Then we will have our dinner. I am going to order for us here”, I told her and she nodded. I forwarded the mail to my dad as I needed his opinion here now. “Why are you not going?” I found her not moving from her place and asked her while racing my brows.

“Uhh…. You need to stand up so that I can go?” she said that sounded more like a question. I smiled at her. She was not looking straight at me and I was enjoying her nervousness now. “Why??? You can go over me too”, I said in a teasing tone and she tried to glare at me but her nervousness was failing her. The nervousness was clearly to be seen on her face right now and I was clearly enjoying this.

“P… please stand up”, she stuttered while trying to push me off the couch but I scooted more towards her after putting the laptop at the table. “Enough teasing for today, Sir…. Just let me go”, she tried to get some distance between us but I pushed her more inside. I was still in the towel and it was making things hard for her that was what I thought.

“Sir”, she yelled and almost jumped over me when I tried to kiss her again. “You are insane”, she yelled while running inside the bathroom. I laughed hard while clenching my stomach. My laughter died after a while and I looked at the closed door of the bathroom. I went towards the wardrobe and picked out my nightclothes. I put them on and then at first I called for the room service and ordered our dinner.

This was a suite and the bedroom was separated from the living room. I went inside the bedroom and called my dad. He told me that he had gone through the mail that I sent to him and he has also had the same opinion that I and Bella had. I also told him what Bella had replied to them on my behalf. At first, he laughed at me because according to him, Bella had more sense of business than me. It annoyed me but I couldn’t say that he was wrong. She indeed had a good sense of business and could make better decisions at crucial times.

He gave me some suggestions and also asked me not to bend at any cost here because we had an upper hand here as we were the major investor in this project. He also had some suggestions for this project and according to him, I could use this information as my leverage here because the other company was now showing their true colours to us. I completely agreed with him and I now knew what I needed to do tomorrow. He also asked me to discuss things with Bella. I didn’t know why he always asked me this but the fact that I noticed her presence of mind was because of my dad.

I heard the doorbell and went out. I was startled at first because, at the same time, Bella came out of the bathroom. My heart almost leapt out of my mouth. She came out of the bathroom only with the towel that made me forgot how to breathe for a few seconds. She also froze at her spot and was looking at me without blinking.

We both came out of our stance when we heard the bell again. “What are you doing? Go inside”, I yelled while moving my gaze from her. “Y… y… yes Sir”, she stuttered and ran inside the bedroom and closed the door. I decided to keep this in mind that next time. I would make sure that the bathroom should be inside the bathroom not attached to the living room. I opened the door and saw a server standing with the food trolley. I let him inside and he left after leaving the food trolley inside.

“Sir?” I heard her voice and looked at the closed door of the bedroom. “C… can.. you pass me… my bag please”, she asked me from behind the door. My heart was still racing in my chest because this was the first time that she came in front of me just in a towel and she was really gorgeous.

“Ye… yeah.. sure”, I said and then looked for her bag. I took her bag and went to the door. Honestly, I wanted to pull her out from behind the door and ravished her right here right now but resisted my desire. I gave her the bag and without saying anything else she closed the door. For a moment, I stood there for a while and was staring at the door without blinking.

Suddenly the bell rang again and I came out of my stance. I took a deep breath and then looked at the door in confusion. Now, who had come?
