Tony stood numbly in the kitchen after Lexi left. She didn’t say anything he didn’t already know. He had no business trying to start things back up with Lexi, but it didn’t stop him from wanting to. He had no plans to move anytime soon, so her fear of him leaving was unwarranted. But he did deploy. Frequently. He couldn’t appease that fear for her.
