Chapter Thirteen Alexia fixed her hair for the hundredth time convinced it still looked out of place. She didn’t know why she wore it down. Working in the hospital, she always kept it up and out of the way. With it down she felt it just hung there, but every time she tried to put it up her mother took it down. She loved her mother, but she was glad she lived alone now, and her family was just visiting. She had been happy to leave home and all the memories behind.
