Riley I had never felt relief like when we finally pulled out of the hotel parking lot. We were going home. I could wear comfortable clothes and none of those suits and evening gowns! Hell, I didn’t wear make-up at home, and for the meetings I had to fix my face! I could get back to what was really important to me. The pack. I could get back to jogging to the mausoleum in the mornings. The closer we got to our territory, the more I relaxed. Susan was there to greet me at the door, and they quickly had my things back in my room just the way I liked them. I changed and Mike and I checked in with our rogue project after he said hello to his mate, of course. All I really wanted to do was talk to Jeremy. I missed him so damn much, but the dead can wait when the living require my attention.
