I woke up in the hospital wing with people rushing around while a constant beeping above my head started to give me a huge headache!
“Hey, you are awake.” Caleb gripped one hand while stroking a stray piece of hair out of my eyes with the other.
“What happened?” My voice sounded hoarse, and my throat felt incredibly dry.
“You fainted. The doctors are running some tests.” He frowned, and I sighed, gripping my forehead with my free hand to try and relieve the tension by pushing back.
“They didn’t find something wrong before.” I rolled my eyes just as the doctor joined us.
“Welcome back, alpha.” Doctor smiled quickly before turning his attention to the monitors above my head.
