As I was getting ready for my date with Caleb, I wondered what the people must be thinking. The werewolves in our community knew what was going on, but what about the humans living in town? I have been going to the same restaurant every night since this thing started. I shook my head trying to clear my mind. I was just looking for excuses not to go on this date with Caleb. I had to give it to him. He found a way to spend time alone with me.
As we pulled up outside the restaurant, I felt as if I was having an out-of-body experience. It felt as if I was watching myself go through it. As if I wasn’t physically in my body going through it myself. I forced myself to focus as we walked into the restaurant and I saw Caleb getting up. He was already there, which was a bit of a surprise.
