I should probably have been offended that Riley took the lead on literally everything, but I didn’t. As a matter of fact, I was enjoying the way she put the council in their place far more than I ever thought I would. I had been part of their culture for far too long. After seeing what Riley accomplished with her rogue project, things changed. I changed.
