It was strange to leave and not know what the future had in store for us. Riley was completely in control. She would decide what would happen to me and my pack. It was unnerving. Scary even, but something told me that at the end of the day things would work out for all of us. I hadn’t been happy for such a long time, and I knew that had a huge effect on my people.
