The truth is

I looked up and saw Jessica staring right at us from the doorway. She walked in and closed the door behind her. For a few seconds she just stared at us. What did she want now? "So I was right, you are Bella." She whispered. She walked forward and then sat down. "I just don't understand why you did all this. What pushed you to want to make everyone believe you are dead?" she asked me. I looked up at Adam who just nodded his head. "Go on, its not like anyone will believe her." he whispered low enough for my vampire ears to hear. I looked up at Jess who was waiting for an explaination and then spoke. "I'm going to warn you right now, if I tell you why I will have to kill you." Jessica laughed. "Well then Bella kill away, but first I want to know why." "The truth is, I am Bella and I'm a vampire." I confessed She jumped to her feet. "Ha! I knew it, I knew it. Wait til everyone finds out." she said excitedly. Did she not hear my complete confession or did she only hear what she wanted to hear. She headed excitedly to the door and went to open it. I quickly crossed the room at vampire speed and blocked her way. "Woah, what the hell." Jessica muttered a bit frightened. "Like I said I am a vampire." I replied. Jessica rolled her eyes. "Whatever helps you to sleep at night crazy." she muttered as she tried to open the door. I kept a firm hold against the door so she couldn't move it. She pulled on it for a few seconds before she looked nervously at me. "Bella, let go of the door." She said. I slowly shook my head. "I'm sorry but I can't do that, you know our secret." Jessica brought her hand up to try and slap me and I instantly heard a crack. Jessica screamed and cradled her hand as she slumped to the ground. I tilted my head to the side ever so slowly and grinned mischieviously. "Hmm, seems like you broke your hand." I replied. "Don't worry the pain will end quickly." I lifted Jessica effortlessly and carried her from the room to Carlisle's office. I dropped her onto the observation table and smiled to myself as Jessica yelped in pain. "Carlisle, Jessica broke her hand on my face." I said casually before I moved to sit across the room. The door opened and I looked over to see my daughter walk in. I glanced at her momentarily to size her up and could tell she had grown another cenimeter in the last hour. "Mommy." Gracie said as she skipped across the room. I felt myself melt at her words. "How is she your daughter, she looks like she is 3" Jessica groaned. "None of this makes sense." I lifted Gracie into my arms and crossed the room. "It woudn't make sense to you. You may notice things but you don't truly see." Jessica scoffed at me. "You are such a freak, I honestly have no idea why anyone would love you let alone like you. I just hope that baby of yours doesn't turn out to be a freak like you." she said. I quickly sat my daughter to her feet and moved to lunge at Jessica's neck. No one called my daughter a freak. As I was soaring towards her I watched her disappear suddenly. I landed grasping the air of nothingness that had replaced Jessica. What had just happened. I rose to my feet and looked around the room. I looked at my daughter and I could see the nerves in her face. I slowly crossed the room and knelt before her. "What did you do Gracie?" I asked gently. "I sent her bye bye." Gracie whispered before she began giggling. "I don't like her mommy." She said to me. "Where did you send her to?" I asked more importantly. Gracie rose her hand and pointed at something behind me. I turned around only to be smacked in the face with the seriousness of the situation. Grace was pointing at a picture of the bottom of the ocean. Carlisle crossed the room and knelt down before Gracie. "Gracie, you can't use your gifts on humans its not good." He said gently. Gracie's bottom lip quivered before she began crying. I wrapped my arms around her and rose to my feet. "You are not in trouble we just need you to understand that you can't use your gift on others. The girl you just sent to the ocean is now gone forever." I thought using the word dead would be too much for her at her age. I didn't want that on her conscious and I didn't want her living with the thought that she killed a woman when she was only 3. Her mind was innocent and I wanted it to remain that way. Gracie nodded her head and kissed me on my cheek. "I'm sorry mommy." She replied. She was so grown up for her age. Suddenly the thought of Sarah looking the same age crossed my mind. I didn't understand what it meant but for some reason I felt like Sarah was out there somewhere, alive and healthy. I knew she was alive. All I had to do was find her. I knew who I needed, I needed Rosalie. I headed downstairs to the library where Rosalie was looking up shoes online. "Rose, you know what Jakes wolf form smells like right?" I asked her quickly. She clicked off the website and rose to her feet. "Unfortunately." She replied. "I know this would be alot to ask but I want you and Emmett to hunt him down. I know he has my daughter and I know she is alive out there somewhere. Find her for me and bring her back to me." "Do you want Jake dead?" She asked me. I shook my head. "I want him to suffer but don't hurt him." I said importantly. "Unless you need to." I decided to ask. Emmett came into the room with a huge grin on his face. He clapped his hands and then rubbed them together before he cracked his knuckles. "So we finally get to hunt some dogs." He asked I nodded my head. "Find him and find my daughter, that is all I ask." Rosalie moved to take Emmetts hand and then they disappeared out the back. I took a deep breath and sat down. That was one thing on its way to being solved. The next one was my father. I wanted him to be at peace and there was only one way I knew I could do that. I needed to go to him. I left Gracie with Esme and then headed to Alice's bathroom to try and find some hair dye. I wanted my hair back to its normal shade. 3 hours of the disgusting smell of chemicals and I was staring in the mirror at myself. My brown hair looked radiant and shined. My skin was perfect like porcelain and my eyes were red but could be fixed by contact lenses. Alice joined my side with a beautiful white dress which I put on. Afterwards she handed me barefoot sandles which I slipped on. I pointed my foot and smiled, my feet looked beautiful. Lastly she gave me a french manicure and pedicure. When she was finished with me I saw what she was trying to do, she wanted me to look angelic. It was apparent that I was to remain dead but I was to visit my father as a ghost or spirit. If I pulled this off my father might be able to find some serenity. "He's upstairs in his bedroom, in 10 minutes the sun will be shining." Alice told me before she skipped from the room. I knew what I was supposed to do.
