I got out of the car and sprinted towards Gale, who was taking a sip of the alcohol and then dropping it everywhere.
“Stop! Gale, no.” I stopped just when I saw him bringing a lighter out of his pocket, His cheeks were stained with tears, the pain of killing his wife.
“Everything is dead, everyone is gone,” Gale said, holding a bottle in one hand and the lighter in the other hand.
“Lighting up the entire world on fire is not the solution to heartbreak.” I noticed that Kai had followed me but thankfully, he didn’t speak and let me handle this matter for once.
“There is no world left, these are a bunch of dead bodies that need to move on.” Gale was definitely having a breakdown and I don’t blame him. I would be suffering too; I would be devastated too if I saw Kai in pain.
