Chapter 16Thad shook his hand. The metal of the cuff didn’t burn him, which was good, but it was an extra weight around his wrist that might hinder him should he need to do spell work in a hurry. Better than having to carry the whole pole though. “Anyone have an extra sweater?” They all looked down at themselves, including Sandy, and Thad sighed. It was too damn cold and yet none of them wore jackets. “You can have mine.” Jaecar began undressing. “No way! I will not have him smelling like you.” Sandy flashed teeth at Jaecar. “Ric, give Thaddeus your shirt.” Thad waited for an objection, but it never came. Ric was gonna lend him a shirt? This was one strange day. Ric shrugged as he handed it over. “Scents, it’s a shifter thing. I’m his brother and I’m mated, so he knows I have no inte
