Chapter 10Sandy needed to get Thaddeus home. He was pale and tense with exhaustion shining in his eyes. It had only been a day since he fractured his arm and got the stitches, and since then they’d been around half the city, had several less than calm conversations with Ric and the other colleagues, and Thaddeus had been using his magic a lot. How much would drain him? Sandy didn’t know, but Thaddeus needed to be in bed.
