Synthia’s POV
The pain in my chest was now like a steady hum and I was able to focus on my surroundings. I stood up and turned around. This was a place I have spent countless hours reading my favorite books from my childhood and it was as very familiar to me, but today, with nobody else around and the eerie silence, I felt as if it was a totally strange place.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew in the library and I turned to see that all the windows were closed. Then, where was this wind coming from?
To my astonishment, the wind gathered speed, and it felt as if it was circling around me.
