I woke up with a start as I heard a cacophony of booming noises. It took my sleep addled brain a moment to realise that it was the sound of someone knocking on my door. Sophie was really going to get it this time. That horrendous booms were definitely not worthy to be called knocks!
Wait, Sophie wouldn’t bother to knock, she would just barge in and start screaming like a banshee!
I opened my eyes and everything felt different. Slowly, the events of the last day trickled into my mind and I sighed when I remembered that I was no longer in the pack.
