Returning home

The flight took a while with the different time zones. When we got home, we carried our bags into the house. I set my stuff down as Nora looked at me. She didn't need to ask as I left.
I got into the car and drove to the hospital. I pulled into a parking spot, got out, made my way into the hospital, and walked to Grammy's room. When I arrived, I knocked on the door. Grammy turned her head and smiled as I entered her room. I pulled a chair next to her bed.
"Matthew, what are you doing here? Why aren't you in Hawaii?" Grammy asked me.
"Uncle Lex called Payton and told him what happened."
