MALIKA’S POV The light filtered in through the heavy drapes, the birds were chirping, and the scent of my mate wrapped around me made me smile. Now, this was worth waking up to. Last night had been by far the best night of my life. I owed Karla a huge debt for setting up such a perfect date for us and now we had marked each other. I smiled even more as I ran my fingers over the raised skin of my mate mark. Tor was wrapped around me from behind. I turned in his arms so that I could study his peaceful face.
