The Bully's Secret Love

Literature trip.

Lyn POV

It has been exactly one week now since the school academic year started. From the moment I sent Nolan and Jed away on Monday the truth is expected that the next day it was going to be pay back time but that is not exactly what happened at that time .

He has not been giving me that much attention . At least that has made me feel at ease knowing that he is not tormenting me at all. However I am still not completely at ease, perhaps he is upto something when I don't really know. Let me hope that is not the case but with him , you never know what to expect.

Today is Monday, Not just any other Monday but a busy one away from the real class room. We are infact going to be outside class and school. We are heading for heading for a literature trip. In otherwards we are just going to try and understand literature outside the classroom. We are to head outside the country side and have a bit of interactive studying . It is something that Mr Simpson does at the beginning of each academic year.

Do that is the trip that we are having today. All excited we get into our school bus. However such Trips are never complete since I don't have Jean with me . She is the only one who understands me completely.

When I check around I spot my seat. Just like what I wanted , it is right at the window. I always like sitting by the window. I sit down and wait for when the bus will finally begin to our final destination .

I don't even know how I end up dozing even before the bus sets off but I am awoken when I feel some one tab in me. I immediately look up just to make sure that my eyes are showing me what is right . What does he want from me .

“ What do you want ?" I ask him when my eyes finally adjust . Nolan is standing beside me with the biggest smirk on his lips.

“ What I want ? Nothing. I am just here to take my seat beside you. " He says sounding all innocent as he occupies the seat beside me. No way , this can't be happening to me . Not for sure. All the sleep that was in my eyes all disappears. Just when I thought that all was okay , I had no idea I would share a sit when Nolan. I can't even contain him for even a single minute and yet here I am going to share a seat with him for the whole trip .

I instantly fall back surrendering to the fate that awaits me on this trip and yet it was initially supposed to be all joy away from the school teasing and the like.

Don't tell me you had totally forgotten about him being part of this class. My subconscious tells me and the truth is I don't even know what I was thinking to have forgotten that.

“ Don't Tell me you are not happy yet you have such a handsome boy sitting just next to you." He says suddenly even disrupting me yet I am trying to be okay and act normally but it is like he won't let me be .

I open my mouth to say something but the truth is nothing comes out of my mouth at all. For sure I don't know what to say to him. For sure it is like he won't cease to amuse me.

“ Why are you smiling , did I say something that is funny?" He asks me.

“ Not exactly but if you are here to do that usual stuff of teasing me . I promise I will not hesitate to do something that you will surely regret. " I threaten him for sure myself as well wondering where I got the courage to talk to some one like that more so when that some one is him.

“ I see you have grown some horns . " He says with a smirk looking at me.

I am awoken when I hear some one touching my face. This prompts me to quickly open my eyes meeting Nolan fallen back and sleeping with his head fallen back on the seat. I look around wondering who might have made fun of me . However perhaps I am just being paranoid or they have started making fun of me.

I make sure that I don't fall sleep this time around. I get my phone an begin to read a novel that I have on my phone. I get so sinked into the novel that I don't even realize that we have reached out final destination. I however get to know it when Mr Simpson announces that we are here and so we can get out.

The different students begin to get out all excited. Actually this trip is just about getting auqinatedand getting familiar with all those things that we are to study for the reste of the year. It is just about outside studying that is all.

We eventually all get out. We begin with setting our tents that we are to use for the next three days which we are to spend here . I am to share a tent with Nia. She is actually some girl that is part of my class. She is among the few who have never teased me at all.

At least I will partly get some freedom.

“ I have always wanted to talk to you but ..." He suddenly stops when she thinks about something perhaps.

“ What is it ?" I insist since she seems to have something that she is hiding from me .

“ okay..the thing is, I mean nothing. " She insists on hiding whatever she has in mind..

” please" I persist.

“ The truth is Nolan and his friends had threaten us at the end of last academic year. That Incase we associated with you then we would getting bullied like you "

I can't believe this. Which type of human being acts so cruel to others like Nolan does. For sure numerous times I wonder what exactly I did to him. He is not only about bullying me himself but even went an extra mile of making all my classmates get a way from me.

I don't get Chance to say anything since we are called to gather ..it being already dark , we make a fur place and we all sit at different spots talking amongst ourselves..I am sited next to Nia. Actually she is one that I have got acquaintaed to now since the moment that I got here.

I spotted Jed with one Rita who was trying to flirt with him..I feel pity towards my friend, Jean..As she is there thinking about Jed , Jed is as well here already occupied...hope it is not What I thought.

We begin to talk one after another discussing different questions that that teacher asks. Nolan is at the other end . Thanks to tye distance. This goes on until late in the night when most of the students retire to their tents to sleep . However I decide to keep on the fire just looking in the sky at the stars hoping my father is amongst those numerous ones watching over me so that I don't get any kind of danger at all.
