Homeless in a human town

AT THE SAME TIME

AT XAVIER'S POW:

I can not believe that I got kicked out! I lost my home and my family because I summoned a HUMAN. I know that I could be called homeless, but I am going to find place to live. I looked at her, and saw her sitting on the ground, terrified

-What is wrong?-I asked.

-You so big.-She said, and I laughed.

-I am sure that I am bigger than a wolf you saw in a Zoo.-I said and laughed.

-What is a Zoo?-She asked.

-You don't know what is Zoo?-I asked.

-I never went there.-She said.

-It's a place that keeps a lot of different animals as sakes, pandas, bears, foxes, and others.-I said.

-I understand now.-She said and smiled a bit.

-What is your name, human?-I asked.

-Hikari.-She said.

-How old are you?-I asked.

-I am seventeen.-She said. -Can I ask something?

-Ask.-I said and sighed.

-What is a familiar?-She asked.

I sighed and turned to my human form. I watched how Hikari took off her coat and placed it on me.

-I know you hate me, but you get cold.-Hikari said.

I sighed and put on. It's small to me, but it's better than nothing.

-Familiar is a person that protects their master. Familiar can be different kinds of creatures: wolves, witches, demons, angels, and others. -I said. -That familiar protects master until master death.

- I understand now.-She said, and I sighed.

I got up from the ground and looked at her. We must find something before sundown.

-Let's go.-I said and started to walk off.

-Where are we going? -Hikari asked.

-we are going to look for a place where we can spend a night. I was a prince, but now I only got some family things, a passport and a little bit of money.-I said.

I saw how she stopped for a moment.

-What is wrong?-I asked. -Why you stopped.

- Umm, would you like to stay at my home?-She asked.

-Your home?-I looked at her confused.

-Yes, sir. Before I was summoned by you, I was living a simple human life. Also, I have a home near your castle.-She said.

-Seriously?-I asked.

-Yes.-She said.

-Lead us there then.-I said, and she started showing us a direction east from the castle. Dad said that on that side of the kingdom are living outcasts or people who are not suited to other people. We kept walking for thirty mins, and after some time, I saw a small wooden house near the river.

-Is that your home?-I asked.

-It is.-Hikari said and smiled.

-How we never saw it before?-I asked.

-As a prince, you probably looked for an expensive house, not a poor one like this one.-She said, and I nodded.

She is telling the truth, I would never pay attention to that type of home.

Both of us walked inside and I saw a small home with a few beds, a kitchen, and a tiny living room. It looks so small, but yet comfortable.

-What do you think?-She asked.

-It is small but livable. Since you are my familiar, you are going to do all stuff I want. -I said.

-Like cooking, cleaning, and stuff? I don't mind.-She said, and I smiled.

-What are you doing for a living?-I asked.

-I am a hunter.-She said.

-A hunter?-I asked.

-I am hunting wild animals and selling their meat and fur for money. I also gather fruits, herbs, vegetables.-She said and I nodded.

-Lucky to me you can provide us some stuff.-I said.

-I can, sir.-She said.

-Call me, Xavier.-I said.

-Of course, Xavier.-Hikari said and smiled.

I got up and watched how she bought me a bedroom. It is small like my old wardrobe, but it will be good for now.

-You can sleep here. Good night, Xavier.-She said and left the room.

I got out my stuff from a bag and placed it on a cupboard. I lost my kingdom, family, and all my things in a one day. I am going to get them back and nobody is going to stop me.

-I am also going to help you.-I heard a voice in my head.

-Who are you?-I asked.

-I am your wolf. My name is Adam.-He said.

-I am Xavier.-I said.

-Nice to meet you.-I said.

-Same here. Now go to sleep.-Adam said.

I chucked before falling asleep on a bed. At least I have a friend here.

---Next morning---

I woke up with a pain in my back. This bed is so uncomfortable. I sat down on the bed and a delicious smell reached my nose. I walked closer and saw Hikari making breakfast.

-Good morning, Hikari. What are you cooking?-I asked.

-Some scrambled eggs, toast, and coffee.-She said.

-You have coffee?-I asked.

-Of course. I told you that I am earning money.-She said and placed food on the table before sitting down. I started to eat it and smiled softly. It was simple food, but it tastes good.

-I like that.-I said and smiled.

-I am glad that you are enjoying it.-Hikari said and smiled.

-So what we are doing about all kicking out of the castle?-I asked.

-We are going to live here until we figure out something. If that sounds good enough for you.- Hikari said and smiled.

-I do like this idea, but you are going to do most of the things for me.-I said.

-I understood that, sir.-Hikari said and smiled.

I smiled at her and nodded. She does look like a good girl, but I am mad because I got kicked out of the castle. I need to find a way to get back to my home. I want my normal life back.

AT HIKARI'S POW:

I can not believe that I was summoned by the alpha prince. He seems like a nice person, but he is truly mad at me. He wanted a demon, witch, or another werewolf, but he got me instead. I understand that his dad was mad at him, but that was not his fault. I need to help him to return back home, and maybe then he will stop hating me.

-Tell me more information about yourself. I want to know much more about you.-He said and smiled.

- What exactly you can do?-He asked.

-I can kill, gather fruits and herbs as I have told you before.-I said.

-What else you can do?-He asked.

-All human things?-I said.

-Like maids are doing in my castle? Cooking, cleaning, gardening?-He asked.

-Something like that.-I said.

-That does sound simple, yet pretty useful.-He said coldly, and I nodded.

-I am sure we are going to be able to survive here.-I said, and he nodded.

I am going to try to fix my home a bit, and then I will try to find a plan to get back in his castle.
