Twenty-SixIt was still dark out when I opened my eyes, my body and mind were well rested for the second time in as many days. It had been a long time since sound sleep was able to grab hold of my consciousness and send me into a dreamless state. Closing my eyes at night and then suddenly waking up completely rested, it was wonderful. Yet, I found myself wondering when it would all end. I rose from bed and headed to the kitchen, my excitement was already beginning to build as Aaron would be arriving shortly to take me on my first sightseeing trip.
