We came back to their apartment after Delilah’s funeral and my eyes were burning with unshed tears. It was so hard for me to digest the fact that I lost my lovely best friend. How am I supposed to live without her in that apartment? I guess I have to change my apartment because it was not possible for me to step into that apartment without thinking about her. Kane and Caspian asked me to stay in their apartment for a few more days because it was not safe for me. Maybe they were waiting for the best opportunity to pounce on me as well.
