Unaware how long it had been since she had last taken a proper meal, Luci found her mouth watering at the sight of the food prepared for this evening. Salad presented in a giant bowl sat in front of her along with thick cuts of steak that she would have detested in opposition to this night. But as she had not taken in anything more than vending machine coffees and a few handfuls of trail mix between classes, she was elated to have something warm, homemade, and fresh.  Paxton was careful to inquire for what it was she wanted and was given a buffet-style choosing before he set a plate in front of her with mashed potatoes littered with exotic spices, beef drowned in mouthwatering au ju, and a mix of fresh vegetables beside a summer salad colored with raw strawberries and effervescent spinach
