It was only as they neared The Castle that he began to wonder what had happened to Clola the night before. Watching Clola at dinner he had been astounded by her beauty and even more by her elegance. He was far too experienced where women were concerned not to realise that her gown would have graced Buckingham Palace. In fact with her dark hair in which there were blue lights, her white skin and strange mysterious eyes he knew that his friends and certainly the Monarch would acclaim her a beauty.
