My body shook in anger, but it wasn’t directed at the men in front of me. But I just couldn’t have another mishap happen.
Zaya’s safety was my priority and it needed to be theirs as well.
“Here’s what we can do....” Drew started and my eyes snapped at him. “....we’ll keep searching obviously, but we need to increase security around the pack border and especially around Zaya. But we need to do it in a way that doesn’t freak her out.” Right, because her mental state is fragile.
The thought of her getting hurt and being unsafe made my blood boil, but knowing that I could, I would be around her all the time calmed me down a notch.
