I was glad the day was over, as was the night. Today, there was nothing special or new that could make me hopeful about life but I was grateful for it. I got to live and plan my revenge on those who deserved it.
I sat on my chair in my office with nothing really to do and I hated the idle state I was in. This meant that my mind was going to play games with me and I didn’t think I had the patience to tolerate it without actually breaking something.
One constant thought, however, remained even as I tried to push out the rest. Why was Jade really here? Why was I even asking myself when I knew what the answer was?
