This wasn’t something I wanted. I didn’t want to be looked down upon by his pack nor did I want to be confronted by Jade.
Why is she even here? I wanted to ask but I didn’t need anyone to answer that question for me at all when I knew the ceremony that Alpha Kade had organized was for her sister – I wasn’t sure, but it couldn’t be that she, Jade, was here to honour Olivia but she was here – and if anyone deserved to attend, it was her.
Again, she didn’t have to open her mouth to speak for me to know exactly the amount of hate that was going to come out of her mouth.
Gloria’s hand had just touched the door and she was about to push it open when Jade had appeared. “Out of my way peasants!” she spat, yanking Gloria’s hand away like she had any kind of dirt on her.
