I didn’t realize that I had hid behind my father until Kade stomped his way towards him. He towered over my father by at least two inches and he sized him up in a glare.
“Careful now Alpha Benjamin, first you don’t talk to me like that. Not outside in public and definitely not in my own pack!......” this part his voice rose by a notch.
It was evident that Alpha Kade was fighting for control and his eyes twitched.
If I were my father, I would have bolted but seeing as he was an Alpha as well, he didn’t want his ego bruised, not that he had much to show forth.
