ZAYA’S POV This can’t be happening right now. I thought the moment Ivy yelled for me to run. I knew too well that when my body would urge me to run, to obey before asking questions. And in this case, the threat was staring right in the face at me for me to want to ask dumb questions about if I should or should not run. The moment he appeared, I knew what I had to do. I spun on my heels like some professional dancer and I took off, running aimlessly as long as it got me away from the masked man.
