I stared at the Guard who looked like he was in charge of the whole investigation into Lisa’s background. He had a little notebook kept in his pocket which he had taken out while talking to me.
Old-fashioned ways for a young Guard like him.
“Am I guilty of something? Are you accusing me of having anything to do with Miss Monza’s treacherous ways with the Royal family of Rivera?” I said my words with my head held high with confidence.
“I am loyal to the Royal family of Rivera. And.. umpph, my loyalty lies with Alpha King Logan Charming.”
Honestly, I had no idea what I was doing. I was saying words that were disgusting to even think about. But I had to save myself from being thrown into a dungeon before I had that chance to kill Logan.
