I stared at Jon like he was crazy. Now he wanted me to stay? I didn't trust him. He had made it clear I wouldn't be accepted here.
"Why?" I said to him.
"Because you are Gabe's mate." He said simply.
"So!" I said shortly. "That never mattered to you before. You've known since the day I met you that I was Gabriel's mate. You've still treated me like shit." I wasn't holding back. What did I have to lose?
