For a moment I just stood there in shock. Gabriel was here. He was dangerously close to the edge of the overlook. I felt panicked, my heart was hammering in my chest. I quickly shifted and started to run to him.
"Gabriel, don't!" I yelled. Tears were running down my face. This was partly my fault. I had broken his heart by insisting I had to leave. He whipped around when he heard my voice and had a puzzled look on his face.
"Carrie?" He started to walk towards me just as I crashed into his arms.
