Shelby’s POV
I have been sick for about 2 weeks now, and I have finally been successful with getting pregnant. I have hired some new men, better at protecting me, and they cost a lot more than the last four, but those men were obviously not qualified at their jobs to be beaten by a bunch of mutts. I mean I thought that all they did was phase into their wolves and then fight. No one ever told me that they could be armed, and apparently very dangerous.
I hired these new men, and they are costing me double what I was paying, but I finally feel a little safer now. I am heading to the Witch to get another set of the potion.
